Miron Briley has spent 20+ years operating service businesses and investing in real estate — the same two worlds RankGrid now serves. I didn't come to local SEO from marketing. I came to it from running the kind of businesses that live or die on the phone ringing.

I started solo in the late '90s with a mobile car detailing business — booking the jobs, chasing the invoices, and washing the cars myself. From there I managed an express car wash in Springfield, MO, then moved up to area manager over five locations across Tulsa and Dallas: hiring, firing, P&Ls, equipment, inventory, the whole operation. I've been the owner staring at a slow week wondering where the next customer comes from. That's not a hypothetical to me.

Then I moved into real estate and scaled fast — 120 transactions in 2024 and 75 rental doors and counting. Buying houses taught me exactly how a motivated seller thinks and searches when they need to move a property. That's the seller RankGrid is built to put in front of you.

Why I built RankGrid for investors and contractors

RankGrid exists because most local businesses are invisible two neighborhoods over from their own front door. I watched it happen in my own businesses and in the deals I was doing — you rank for your name and nothing else, while the calls go to whoever shows up first on the map.

Investors and contractors have the same core problem: the people who need them are searching right now, and they're landing on someone else's site.
